DARE Transfers ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Sagentic LLC, an S Corporation doing business as DARE Print & Sign Co. and Sagentic Web Design. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit daretransfers.com or place an order with us.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and shipping/billing address when you register or place an order.
  • Order information: Products ordered, artwork files uploaded, order history, and communication related to your orders (including proof approvals and support requests).
  • Payment information: Payment transactions are processed entirely by Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details on our servers. We may retain a partial card number (last 4 digits) and payment transaction IDs for order reference.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, browser type, device type, operating system, and IP address.
  • Cookies: We use essential cookies for session management (keeping you logged in, maintaining your shopping cart) and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site.

2. Analytics & Tracking

We use the following analytics services to understand site traffic and improve the user experience:

  • Google Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data including pages viewed, session duration, and traffic sources. Google Analytics may use cookies and collects data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools / UET: Collects data on site visits originating from Bing search to help us understand search performance.
  • Matomo: An open-source analytics platform we use to track site usage. Matomo data is hosted and controlled by us and is not shared with third parties.

These tools may place cookies on your browser. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect site functionality (e.g., your shopping cart may not persist).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders, including printing, proofing, shipping, and customer communication.

We may share your information only with the following parties, and only to the extent necessary to operate our business:

  • DARE Print & Sign Co. and Sagentic Web Design — both brands operate under Sagentic LLC. Your information may be accessible across these brands for order fulfillment, technical support, and business operations. This is internal sharing within a single corporate entity.
  • Payment processors: Stripe and PayPal receive the information necessary to process your payment. Their use of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
  • Shipping carriers: USPS and FedEx receive your shipping name and address to deliver your order.
  • Email service provider: We use Postmark to send transactional emails. Postmark processes your email address and name to deliver messages on our behalf.
  • Law enforcement or legal process: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you wish to close your account, contact us and we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., order records for tax and accounting compliance).

Artwork files uploaded with orders are retained for up to 90 days after order completion to facilitate reprints or resolve disputes, after which they may be deleted.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption on all pages.
  • Bcrypt password hashing — we never store passwords in plain text.
  • CSRF protection on all forms.
  • Rate limiting on authentication endpoints to prevent brute-force attacks.
  • Prepared database statements to prevent SQL injection.
  • SameSite cookie attributes and Content Security Policy headers.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Opt out of non-essential cookies and analytics tracking via your browser settings.
